Why we built Aplyqk

If you've applied for a job in the last two years, you already know: the funnel is broken. The same posting goes up on six different boards. Half the listings are recruiters fishing for a pipeline they don't actually need to fill. Your resume disappears into an ATS that does keyword bingo before any human reads it. And you're competing with bots — applicants using GPT to fire off a hundred applications a day with whatever cover-letter template Twitter is currently sharing.

Aplyqk is a working bet that the answer isn't more spam — it's a smarter applicant. One that searches well, writes carefully, and follows up like a person rather than a script.

What we noticed

  • Most job-hunt tools treat the resume as the product. The hard part is actually finding the right roles, then writing each application in a voice that sounds like the candidate.
  • Generic AI applications get filtered out faster than human ones. Recruiters in 2026 are pattern-matching for AI-generated fluff and rejecting on sight.
  • The signal that matters most — replies, interviews — disappears into a Gmail inbox the candidate can't keep up with.

What Aplyqk does differently

Aplyqk is one autonomous job-hunting agent built around Moonshot Kimi. It searches LinkedIn, careers pages, Greenhouse / Lever / Ashby boards, and a handful of country-specific sources for fresh openings. It scores each one against your actual profile — not just keyword overlap. It writes a tailored cover letter per role, gated through guardrails that ban buzzword filler and any fact you didn't put in your profile. And it watches your inbox for replies, classifies them, and drafts a response in your voice for you to review.

We are not trying to apply to as many jobs as possible. We're trying to make every application count.

Where we are right now

Aplyqk is in active development with India, US, and Canada job markets supported. The core pipeline runs daily: web search, score, validate (we drop scams + ghost listings before scoring), apply via your Gmail, watch for replies, draft responses. We're rolling it out to a small set of users while we sand the rough edges. If you'd like in early, the trial is free and takes a minute to start.
