Getting started
Sign up, set up your profile, and run your first matches.
How do I sign up?
Email + password or 'Continue with Google.' Both flows land you on the onboarding wizard, which walks you through profile basics, country, and target roles. The full setup takes about 5 minutes — most of it is filling in your work history.
What happens after I sign up?
Your trial starts immediately (2 days, no card needed). We prompt you to upload a resume — Aplyqk parses it into your profile fields automatically. Then you connect your Gmail (one click via Google OAuth). The next daily run at 2 AM in your local time will surface your first matches.
Why do I need to connect Gmail?
Two reasons. First: Aplyqk applies on your behalf via your Gmail, so the recruiter sees an email from you (not from us). Second: we watch your Gmail thread for replies, classify them, and draft responses. Neither is possible without OAuth access. We use the minimum scopes — read + send only.
Can I use Aplyqk without connecting Gmail?
You'll see daily job matches without it, but you won't be able to use Send via Aplyqk, auto-apply, or reply intelligence. The full value of the agent is gated behind the Gmail connection.
Resume & profile

Which resume formats do you support for upload?
PDF and DOCX up to 15 MB. Our parser pulls out summary, work experience, education, skills, projects, certifications, and contact info, then maps them to your profile. You can edit anything that's wrong before the parser overwrites your fields.
Can I have multiple resume versions?
Not yet — one profile per user. We'll add multi-resume support when enough users tell us it matters; for the v1 of Aplyqk, the agent tailors each cover letter per role rather than swapping resumes, which we've found gets better recruiter response.
What templates are available for download?
Five professional templates with adjustable accent colors. The split-view editor on the resume builder shows a live preview of the chosen template — pick the one you like, then download as PDF.
Will the AI invent skills I don't have?
No. The polish agent has hard rules: never add a technology you didn't list, never invent metrics, never fabricate dates. Recruiters in 2026 actively pattern-match for AI-generated fluff — invented details are a fast path to rejection.
Connecting Gmail
OAuth setup, what we read, what we send.
What permissions do you ask for?
Two scopes: gmail.send (to send applications + replies on your behalf) and gmail.readonly (to watch threads for incoming replies). We never read mail outside threads we sent. We never send mail except in response to your explicit click — auto-apply requires you to enable it from the dashboard.
How are my Gmail tokens stored?
AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. The decryption key is held only in memory and on the production deployment's secret store; even our database engineers can't read your tokens by querying the table directly. Tokens auto-refresh before each send; if Google revokes them, we mark the connector EXPIRED and prompt you to reconnect.
What happens if my Gmail expires or I disconnect?
Job matches still come in daily — those don't depend on Gmail. But Send via Aplyqk, auto-apply, and reply tracking pause until you reconnect. The dashboard surfaces a yellow banner with a one-click reconnect link.
Can I connect more than one Gmail account?
Yes. Multiple Gmail accounts are supported — set one as default and the agent sends from that one. Useful if you keep a 'job hunt' alias separate from your personal email.
Replies & interviews
How the agent handles inbound messages.
How quickly does Aplyqk see new replies?
The reply-polling worker runs every few minutes. A reply that lands at 2:13 PM is typically classified and (if actionable) drafted within 5-10 minutes — well before you'd have refreshed your inbox.
Does Aplyqk auto-send replies?
No, never. The drafter writes a contextual response in your voice, but you click Send. This is by design: the worst failure mode of an AI agent is sending something embarrassing on your behalf, and we'd rather lose 30 seconds of your time per reply than ship that risk.
What kinds of replies does it draft for?
Interview requests, recruiter questions, general acknowledgments, and offers. We deliberately don't draft for rejections (no point), autoresponders (out-of-office), or spam. Each draft has hard rules: never invent facts, never commit to specific dates, never accept or counter an offer — those decisions stay with you.
How do interviews work?
When the classifier flags a reply as an interview request, a second agent extracts the structured details: proposed time slots, format (phone/video/in-person), duration, platform. These show up on your Interviews page as a slot picker. Confirm a slot to lock it in. Calendar integration is coming — for now, confirming updates Aplyqk's record but doesn't create a calendar event.
Plans & billing
Trial, pricing, and how upgrades work.
How does the free trial work?
Two days of full Standard-tier access. No credit card. The trial gives you everything except auto-apply (which is gated to paid plans even on trial). When the trial ends you can either start a paid subscription or stay on the free tier — we don't auto-charge anyone.
When is billing actually live?
Razorpay (India) launches first; Stripe (US/Canada) follows shortly after. Until then, every account runs on the trial — no card needed, full feature access. You'll see plan options on the billing page once payments are wired.
Do prices include taxes?
Prices on /pricing are pre-tax. India users see 18% GST added at checkout; US/Canada users see relevant sales tax based on billing address. Receipts are emailed automatically.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel from the Billing page and your subscription stops at the end of the current billing cycle. We don't pro-rate refunds for partial cycles, but we don't lock you in either.
Privacy & data
What we collect, how it's stored, deletion rights.
What data do you store about me?
Account info (email, country, plan), profile data (resume fields you've filled in), Gmail OAuth tokens (encrypted), the matches our daily run produces, the applications you send via Aplyqk, replies on those threads, and the interviews extracted from them. No keystroke logs, no browser fingerprints, no third-party trackers.
Do you train AI models on my data?
No. Aplyqk uses Moonshot Kimi K2.6 with their standard API terms — your prompts aren't used for training. We don't run our own model training.
How long do you keep my data?
For active accounts: indefinitely, since the daily run uses your historical matches for de-duplication. For deleted accounts: full data deletion within 30 days. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
Can I export my data?
Yes — request via help@aplyqk.com and we'll send a JSON dump of everything tied to your account within 7 days. Self-serve export is on the roadmap.
